There are enough easy to get in-game medals that you can earn this badge even if you cannot beat medium or hard.  For example, two are just from dying and one is for finishing a game even if you lose.  Four more are just from eventually firing enough rockets and bullets and one is for playing 20 minutes total.  Of course, if you can beat easy, medium, hard and/or last five minutes on endless, you can get to 8 faster.
