From when I got this badge back in 2011:
"This achievement is not too hard. I mostly just played between the different areas until I could not figure it out on my own. That got me to about 900 points. Then I went to this site and followed a few level walkthroughs to boost my score to over 1,000."
As always if you already have the badge, just go to the game and you will be awarded the extra points.
