Get Free 3D Music Video on Nintendo 3DS when you Update

Right out of the box with the system just being released, you would not think there was already an update.  However, there has been one available since the start.  To do the update you go into System Preferences and select to a System Update.  It does require you to have your 3DS hooked up to the Internet.  The update does not seem to do much, but it does come with a free 3D Music video.

The free 3D Music Video is "White Knuckles" by OK Go.  It is not my kind of music, but it is kind of cool to see the music video in 3D.  Note that the music video might not permanently be on your 3DS, as a later update can remove it.  That does not bother me, as hopefully, that means other stuff coming in its place.  A rotating feature of different 3D videos would certainly be a fun thing.

How to Perform a Nintendo 3DS System Update?

1. Select System Settings on the Home Screen
2. Choose Other Settings
3. Go to Page 4 of Other Settings and select System Update (make sure you have adequate battery life or put the 3DS in charger)
