Nintendo 3DS Screenshots: StreetPass Mii Plaza

StreetPass Mii Plaza is an interesting aspect related to keeping the Nintendo 3DS on in Sleep Mode as you go about your day. When you get near another 3DS in sleep mode with StreetPass activated, you pick up their Mii and yours visits them. The Mii can then help you in the two "games" in StreetPass: Puzzle Swap and Find Mii.

In Puzzle Swap you collect puzzle pieces to make a puzzle. You get one just for starting it up the first time. You can then get more pieces from the Miis that you collect. You can also use coins earned from the pedometer (100 stepps=1 coin). It costs 2 coins per puzzle piece.

In Find Mii your Mii is stuck in a cage and other Miis try to help save you. The progress is slow with each Mii just doing one attack and it taking a few attacks to beat the ghosts in each room. There are quite a few rooms before reaching your Mii. You can also purchase heros for 2 coins that are also only good for one attack before they flee.

I like that the coins allow you to experience StreetPass without having to pass other 3DSs. I am lucky my bro also got a 3DS and I got to try the actual StreetPass collecting Mii to do the things, but using the coins has let me get much further in each aspect than only having one Mii collected through StreetPass to help. Kind of encourages you to walk more or at least carry your 3DS with you wherever you go.
