Nintendo Wii Screenshots: M & M's Kart Racing

M & M's Racing is one of the better racing games available for the Wii. This, of course, is without considering Mario Kart Wii, which comes out in a few days. That is likely to prove the best, but M & M's Racing does have some good things going for it. For one, it is one of the cheaper Wii games. Secondly, the scenery is interesting, especially with a Chocolate Volcano course. Thirdly, the karts are imaginative including a three wheeled scooter and a hovercraft. It does have the common pitfall of turning being a little difficult getting used to, which all Wii racing games so far have, however it is one of the easier ones to get used to. Also, the graphics may be unique in content, but the quality is low. It also has some bad prop placement in some levels, especially the first, in which you easily get stuck. Game Boy Advance Video Clip: VeggieTales Larry Boy and the Bad Apple

Here is the video clip of playing VeggieTales Larry Boy and the Bad Apple. I know my video quality is not that great, but with this particular video clip I want to note how it shows the fun background music and sound effects that go with this game. While the difficulty of the game still makes it not a good choice for young kids, the sounds do make it a fun game for those that are good at platform games and still like VeggieTales (and yes, there are some older fans of VeggieTales, like me).

Game Boy Advance Screenshots: VeggieTales Larry Boy and the Bad Apple

Earlier this month I shared screenshots of Arthur, which is among the few good games out there for young kids. VeggieTales Larry Boy and the Bad Apple is one I rented and thought may potentially be a great game for young kids. You see I think very highly of Big Idea, who makes the VeggieTales movies and the spin off of the super hero Larry Boy. There movies are great for kids, but this video game is not good for kids. Sure it will probably appeal to VeggieTales lovers at first, however, it is too complex of a platform adventure game for most young kids to even get past the first few levels. Actually, the first level has a hard to make long jump. At least the graphics and sound effects are good, especially how there are some recognizable silly song tunes in the background. Nintendo Wii Video Clip: Cosmic Family

Here is a video clip of playing the Cosmic Family game. I think this may have been one of the videos I compiled the good footage out of the bad footage. It is definitely from my good quality video camera part and not the camera recording, which ends up with poor quality, but at least it is not jumbled mess.

Nintendo Wii Screenshots: Cosmic Family

Cosmic Family is an interesting game for young kids to play on the Wii. I especially found the coloring part in between levels fun. Other than that though it is not much fun if you are over six or seven, however for those younger this is an easy and entertaining game for them to play.
