Starting Birds, Food, and Bonus

Birds

• Yellow-Rumped Warbler - for tucked cards and low food for getting further in Woodlands for more food
• Anna's Hummingbird - low food cost, gain food while drawing cards to tuck, for bonus card
• Snow Bunting - potential to tuck cards

Food: Worm and Wheat (allows for any of the birds I start with to be played depending on how the turns go)

Bonus Card: Omnivore Expert - birds that eat anything (started with one and hope to draw Ruff on first turn, also the Behaviorist can be hard)

Round 1

1. Draw Birds - Ruff (for bonus card and tucking)
2. Draw Birds - Black-Headed Gull (for bonus card and food while drawing cards)
3. Play Bird - Anna's Hummingbird in Wetlands (used Wheat, to get food while drawing cards for tucking)
4. Draw Birds - Red-Backed Shrike (for bonus card), Wheat from bird feeder using Anna's Hummingbird
5. Lay Eggs - 2 eggs
6. Play Bird - Black-Headed Gull in Wetlands (to get more food and draw more cards)
7. Draw Birds - Chihuahuan Raven and Savi's Warbler, Worm from other player using Black-Headed Gull's power, Wheat from bird feeder using Anna's Hummingbird
8. Play Bird - Ruff in Grasslands (to maximize round end tucking chances)

Round End: Tucked Savi's Warbler and Yellow-Rumped Warbler under Ruff to draw House Wren and Common Nightingale

2. Draw Birds - Hooded Warbler and Mute Swan, Worm from other player using Black-Headed Gull's power, Worm from bird feeder using Anna's Hummingbird
3. Play Bird - Chihuahuan Raven in Grasslands (for bonus card, get food while laying eggs)
4. Lay Eggs - 3 eggs, 2 Worms from Chihuahuan Raven's power (for Hooded Warbler and Mute Swan)
5. Play Bird - Hooded Warbler in Woodlands (high points, to lay eggs on it for round end goal)
1. Worm from other player's Eastern Phoebe
6. Lay Eggs - 3 eggs (in Woodlands for round end goal, 2 Wheat from Chihuahuan Raven's power (for Mute Swan)
7. Play Bird - Mute Swan in Wetlands (for bonus card, tuck cards for next round end goal)

1. Play Bird - Snow Bunting in Grasslands (to hopefully get a tucked card for round end goal)
1. Worm from other player's Eastern Phoebe (before turn)
2. Tucked Acorn Woodpecker under Snow Bunting and drew Carrion Crow (for bonus card)
2. Draw Birds - Eurasian Sparrowhawk and Loggerhead Shrike, Tucked ?, ?, and Northern Gannet using Mute Swan's power and drew Roseate Spoonbill, Worm from other player using Black-Headed Gull's power, Fish from bird feeder using Anna's Hummingbird

2. Play Bird - Roseate Spoonbill in Wetlands (gained Wildlife Gardener - birds with cup nests bonus card, had cards to play to get minimum points, although not enough time to play them)
3. Draw Birds - Bell's Vireo, European Robin, and Wood Stork, Tucked Short-Toed Treecreeper, European Robin, and Wood Stork using Mute Swan's power and drew Spotted Owl, Worm from other player using Black-Headed Gull's power, Fish from bird feeder using Anna's Hummingbird
1. Tucked Spotted Owl under Snow Bunting and drew Red-Breasted Merganser
4. Play Bird - Red-Backed Shrike in Grasslands (for bonus card)
