Kongregate Badge of the Day: Balloon Fighter

The Kongregate Badge of the Day for Saturday, January 5, 2013 is the Balloon Fighter Badge.  This is a hard rated badge for the game Bloons Tower Defense.  To get the badge you have to defeat all 50 waves without letting a single inflated terror penetrate your defenses (i.e. beat game with still having 40 lives).  For getting this Badge of the Day you get 33 Gamestop PowerUp Reward Points (63 if you are a KongPlus Member).

Just use a bunch of standard dart towers to win without losing lives.  I mainly focused on adding the towers all around the path and only upgraded a few of them with piercing darts until around round 48 when I went around and upgraded them all instead of adding new towers.  Do not waste money on the long range upgrade.

Due to lag the achievement did not automatically get awarded for me and instead of trying to play through and do it again, which is not too hard to do, I just submitted the screenshot of proof to report missing achievement.

As always if you already have the badge, just go to the game and you will be awarded the extra points.
