Glitched Badge: All the comments on this game refer to the badges being glitched and saving does not get you the badges.  I did not even know where the heck the save button was because the game does not full appear in the box in my browser.  I ended up noticing my cursor could click hidden buttons on the bottom and the save was the one on the right.  I did successfully save, as I can load the save file with level 3 beat, but like everyone else is commenting the badge is not awarded.  It is not even just a today problem, but a comment as old as June says the badges are messed up.

This is actually quite a simple Medium rated badge.  You just need to eventually end up with 1,000 stars.  You can use stars to buy upgrades to help you get more stars per day and thus get the badge faster, but you might not want to focus too much on upgrades because then you waste stars instead of saving them to beat the game faster.  Either way, though, it does not take too much time or effort to get this badge.

Playing math games online can be a fun way to improve math skills.  There are a wide variety of math games available to play online.  Just two sites with math games are The Math Lab and Cool Math Games.

The Math Lab: The games part of this site links to a variety of math games online.  There are some pretty interesting ones such as Algebra vs. Cockroaches, which involves using slope and intercept equations.  There is also SuDoKu and logic games.

Cool Math Games: This site has a wide variety of games.  There are different sections for different math concepts including strategy, skill, numbers, shapes, logic, and memory.  Bloxorz is just one of the many games on this math games site.  In this game you try to get a block into a hole and not let it end up falling off the edge of the level as you try to position it to correctly end up in the hole.

This is a weird game and I have no idea how to really make you go faster other than it seems that when you make more connections and not move much it goes faster.  Does not seem to be a way to know your max speed until the end.

This game is down right frustrating.  Just when I think I beat it because I got through 50 there is a boss and you randomly face the micro games.  It ends up being kind of luck because you might get the ones you just cannot get the hang of or get lucky with ones your good at.  One big problem, though, is getting screwed by glitches such as sometimes in the cannon and balloon one I got no bombs to try to get the balloons and twice at the first boss micro game it suddenly switched to another micro game after a second and caused me to fail without getting an actual chance.  After two hours of trying I think I am just going to give up on this one.

Nintendo 3DS Screenshots: Tetris Axis

Tetris was one of my very first video games back when I got an Original Game Boy in 1994.  I still love puzzle games, so thought I should try out the Tetris Axis on the 3DS.  It is still kind of fun, but somehow it does not seem as good anymore.  I guess I just got more into the faster pace that Match 3s are and that is my real puzzle kind of game nowadays.  The real thing that gets me, though, is the joystick cannot be used to do anything.

There are a decent amount of modes to play in Tetris Axis to give some depth to it.  I definitely appreciate it for that and can still spend hours getting sucked into Tetris.  Its no The New Tetris for N64 (still my favorite Tetris ever), but I gotta say I kind of liked the online mode.  Problem with the online mode, though, is that it took almost 10 minutes to get matched with someone.  Basically, it seems not enough people out there playing it, so not sure how good online capability is if this is what it is like still pretty new.  If you got friends with 3DSs, it could be a lot of fun.  As a single player, though, I would rather stick to Match 3s on the DS.

It only took me a few tries to get over 2,000, but this mini game is kind of frustrating with you having to get the items that drop for points while the enemies randomly pop up and swamp the screen.   Works out easier if you are lucky enough to be getting hearts dropped to keep replenishing your life as you are slashing through to pick up stuff.

Nintendo 3DS Screenshots: Pokemon Rumble Blast

Pokemon Rumble Blast is a nice change of pace from the regular Pokemon RPG games.  In this game you actually are the Pokemon and you battle in real time instead of turn based battles.  It is more exciting to go and battle the other Pokemon as you clear areas and then in the Battle Royale arenas.  However, it is not as challenging and it can get boring fast.

I enjoyed the game for about the first 15 minutes and then I got tired of it.  Basically all you are doing is pressing to attack and there is not really much strategy needed.  I like the aspect of strategy involved in regular Pokemon, such as attacking with the type of attacks that are the enemy Pokemon's weakness.  This aspect of Pokemon is pretty much non-existent and it really is just brute strength.  Also, you collect better Pokemon as you advance instead of leveling up.

Overall Pokemon Rumble Blast is not too bad to play through, but it seems excessively repetitive.  The 3D graphics are pretty cool, though.  It would probably be more fun playing and battling with friends.  Still fun enough that it was a very worthwhile rental, but not necessarily worth purchasing unless the price is low or you plan to play with friends.

Untitled Jersey City Project - Your Next Fav TV Drama?

Obviously, gaming is one of my favorite ways to kill time, but I also enjoy watching television, especially in the background as I do things on my computer including playing flash games on Kongregate.  My favorite shows to watch are crime dramas.  I just watched clips of the work-in-progress TV Drama Untitled Jersey City Project and it certainly could be the next TV Drama I add to my must watch list.

The 8 short clips of Untitled Jersey City Project do not give away much, but they do show enough of the show's concept to hook me in and want to see more to find out what happened/what happens.  The style of it showing something and then flashing back to hours earlier is kind of annoying, as I like linear plotlines that do not bounce around, but they are short previews and could very well work out as just teasers in the episode to keep every episode entertaining and suspenseful enough to keep watching.
