Nintendo DS Screenshots: Gardening Mama

Gardening Mama is a simulation type game in which you do various tasks related to gardening. You help out in growing a variety of plants including flowers, fruits, and veggies. It is actually pretty cool and rather realistic the step processes other than the plants growing way faster than in real life. I found this to be a pretty fun game, but if you are not into sim games like Cooking Mama, then you will probably find it boring. However, it is not as tediously boring as some find Diner Dash type sim games. Personally I like both types of sim games, but the Gardening Mama and Cooking Mama ones are more stimulating type entertaining. I like the gardening one even better than Cooking Mama because it does not make me as hungry as playing Cooking Mama does. If you like Cooking Mama at all, then you should definitely try this game out. It has a decent amount of depth to it, too. Also, if you have friends that like these types of games it seems like the multiplayer ability is pretty good, but I was not able to actually try it out.

Nintendo Wii Screenshots: Rock Band 2 New Battle of the Bands Challenge September 3, 2009

The newest Battle of the Bands Challenge is called Turn the Beat Around. It is a drum battle. The songs are "We Got the Beat" and "Round & Round." The challenge is ranked by highest star count. Yeah, another challenge that does not require you to buy songs. I did not do that good at it because I tried medium difficulty and I just am not really ready for that on the drums. I probably would have done better on Easy, but did not have the time to try.

Nintendo Wii Screenshots: New Everybody Votes Polls and Results September 3, 2009

The newest National poll results are in for Where did you first see Star Wars: Episode IV? The majority (76.3%) said At Home. The gender breakdown was 76.1% of males and 76.6% of females saying At Home. The National Prediction Accuracy was 63.4%.

The newest Battle of the Bands Challenge is called The 90s DLC-Free Challnege. It is a general band battle. The songs are "My Own Worst Enemy," "Today," and "Pretend We're Dead." The challenge is ranked by highest star count. Finally a challenge just for people like me that cannot afford to get DLC songs.

The newest National poll results are in for Have you tried to use the Force like Luke Skywalker? The majority (57.1%) said Okay, I admit it. The gender breakdown was 64.9% of males and 43.3% of females saying Okay, I admit it. The National Prediction Accuracy was 58.3%.

Below is a video of me playing the cycling race. I found it kind of a boring event, since you have to pay attention to the stamina and not just go all out.

Air Sports is the final category of events on Wii Sports Resort. The first part of it is Skydiving. You basically just go and catch people to take photos with them. It really is not that interesting of an event. The second event is Island Flyover. You fly around the island flying through info points as part of a mock sightseeing tour of the island. It is actually kind of a cool event in being a laid back one for the most part, but also interesting. The final event is Dogfighting, but I did not get to try it because it is only two player and yet again you cannot play against a computer Mii.
