Nintendo DS Screenshots: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Here are some screenshots I took before I got too frustrated with the game and mailed it back to the rental place. I really am surprised at the complexity of it. I am sure if I cared to try longer I would eventually get the hand of casting the spells, but it is the fact that I know the button to push to cast it and it just does not always work and I do know my DS is in perfect working condition. The graphics are good though. Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger version of the images.

Gamecube Video Clips: Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix

I finally got around to doing some video clips of this game. I still find it very enjoyable to play. I have pretty much beat the story mode. Also, I did finally figure out how the calorie counter thing works.

Nintendo Wii Video Clip: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

My brother thinks that the Dementor level was the most worthy of a video clip, so I took his advice and did my clip for this game on the dementor level. I will admit this level is a great example of you starting as a wizard and really getting to feel like you are casting magic with the Wiimote. Click the link below to see the short clip.

Nintendo Wii Screenshots: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

While I was on vacation my brother bought this game for himself. He let me come over and play a little of the beginning and take some screenshots. It is really an awesome game. You really feel part of the game and the wizarding world. I love how you are casting the spells using the Wiimote as your wand. Also, it is nice how the Nunchuck is used for controlling your movements through the game. Not to mention the graphics are amazingly realistic, although you can still tell they are a video game and not the real thing they are still by far the best in the Harry Potter series so far. I will probably try to get him to let me play some more some time, as I did not have enough time to get very far, however every part I played so far was pretty simple without being boring. Nintendo Wii Video Clip: Pokemon Battle Revolution

I know I posted the screenshots a few weeks back, but now I have bought the game for myself. My brother even got his own version, so he does not have to steal mine like he had stolen my Pokemon Diamond, which I got back from him yesterday finally. Since I did not do a video clip with the rental because I was getting ready for vacation, I decided to do one now. Below is the link to the video clip of a Colosseum battle.

Gamecube Screenshots: Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix

I played this game again and this time I took screenshots of the second world. It was again easy to beat, but lots of fun. However, I am extremely confused with the workout mode. I figured out how to enter my information, but I have no idea how to get it to be calculating calories. It seems like it is supposed to calculate when you are in Story mode, but it always says zero in my profile when I go back. I totally gave up on it doing the calculating. It is still fun anyways and counting the calories burned is not a big deal to me, as I just usually go by minutes worked out anyways. The mini game feature is fun, though. You unlock the games by playing the specific ones in story mode. If you have multiple dance pads you can face off against others using this mode. Overall despite my frustration with the calorie thing I really love this game and will continue to play it regualrly. Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger version of the images.

Nintendo DS Video Clips: Mario Kart DS

I did these a few weeks ago when I did the screenshots, but my video camcorder broke and it came back from repair while I was on vacation. Yet another camera/camcorder that I am so glad to have bought the Best Buy 4-year warranty on. This particular camcorder has actually been repaired twice and it still has another 2 years of warranty left. Definitely got my money's worth. Anyways click on the links below to see the video clips.
