Gamecube Screenshots: Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix
I have wanted this game for a while and finally ordered it right before I went on vacation last month. Today was my first chance to play it. I really enjoyed playing the game. It was pretty easy to make it through the first World of levels, but it was entirely enjoyable. I will admit I still do not get all the timing right, but I was playing easy mode and never failed a level. I think it will be fun to try the mini games and the workout feature when I have time. I am especially interested in the workout feature because the main reason I got it was to do that with my mom as a fun way of exercise for her to do. While this game can be kind of expensive, I think it is entirely worth it. Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger version of the screenshots.

NES Screenshots: Flintstones: Flinstones: Rescue of Dino & Hoppy
This is an interesting classic game. It is somewhat frustrating to me, probably because I was trying to play with my keyboard instead of my actual NES. I kept having issues with jumping and attacking right. Overall I really did enjoy playing it though, as I have always loved the Flintstones. I like them so much I actually visited Bedrock City in South Dakota last week when I was driving from North Dakota to the airport in Denver to get a flight back to Chicago for a week at the Lake in Michigan. Yes, really I have been on quite a crazy vacation that started by going to Chicago, had a lot in between, and now I head back home to Tucson today from Chicago. NES Screenshots: Eliminator Boat Duel
I stumbled upon this game today on the NES emulator. It is a really fun game. Sure it has simplistic graphics and all the courses end up looking pretty similar, but I love it. The racing aspect is fun, although challenging. I really like the feature of you purchasing upgrades and repairs at the end of the levels and trying to keep enough money to keep playing again. It is very oddly addicting and most definitely an enjoyable NES game to play. Click on the thumbnails below to see a larger version of the images.

NES Screenshots: Donkey Kong Jr. Math
This is not the most interesting game, but it is kind of fun for a change of pace in gameplay. It certainly is not as awesome as Math Blaster, but it is a pretty good educational game. It is pretty simple to play, but because it is pretty darn repetitive it can get boring quite quickly. I doubt anyone would ever chose it as their favorite game, however I expect that parents would find it as a great learning video game to allow kids learning basic math skills to play.

NES Screenshots: Championship Bowling
I am still on vacation and will be until August 9th, but in the meantime I am going to try to update with some NES screenshots taken playing on the emulator. It is not as fun as playing the real thing, but it is all I got right now. Today I played Championship Bowling and took screenshots. It is not all that great. It does not give you the feel of really bowling at all. I guess it is hard to go backwards and play this type of game when the Wii obviously does it so much better. I do not think I would have ever really enjoyed it though, as I love real bowling and the only bowling video game I have ever enjoyed so far is the Wii Sports version.
