A new Villian Event featuring Maleficent has begun in Disney Emoji Blitz. During this event, you collect sword and shield items to unlock treasure chests and Maleficent emoji boxes (#15, #20, and #25). When playing with Sorcerer Mickey, Princess Aurora, or Prince Philip each item counts as double. There are also super items that are worth double, which means they are worth 4 when playing with the above emojis.

During the event, there is also a Diamond box for 200 diamonds that can include Sorcerer Mickey, Princess Aurora, or Prince Philip. Note that Sorcerer Mickey is exclusive to the diamond box and, I think, the other two are how they first release new ones in a diamond box and then they are added to the gold box after the event.
