On Vacation Until March 3

I am going to be on vacation (in London!) until next week. I plan to be back and posting again on March 3. I know I have not been doing a good job of posting daily. It is not that I do not have screenshots and video clips to post, but rather I have been busy with other blogs and online writing.

Game Boy Advance Video Clip: Strawberry Shortcake Video

Here is a video clip of the Strawberry Shortcake Game Boy Advance Video. This was the first time I tried the videos for Game Boy Advance. This is enjoyable if you like Strawberry Shortcake like me. The graphics, however, are pretty crappy, which is what I was trying to show with this short video clip of the game.

Nintendo DS Video Clip: Mario Party DS

Here is a video clip of me playing Mario Party DS. It includes movement around the board and playing some of the mini games. Overall this game is a lot of fun, although I will admit the board game style can sometimes get boring waiting for everyone to move. The mini games are fun, though, and you can select to play just them once you have them unlocked.

Nintendo DS Screenshots: Mario Party DS

Mario Party DS is just as fun as the Wii version. It is cool that it is a portable version, of course. This is the first time I had played a handheld version of Mario Party and I found it to be lots of fun. There are so many different mini games to unlock and plenty of different modes to enjoy. Check out the larger versions of my screenshots below by clicking on them.

Gamecube Video Clip: Disney Sports Skateboarding

Here is a video clip of me trying to play the game. I had fun doing tricks, but was never able to advance very far in the challenges you are supposed to complete.

Nintendo Gamecube: Disney Sports Skateboarding

This is an interesting skateboarding game for Gamecube, but it is no where near as good as the Extreme Skate Disney version. I have not play the Extreme on the Gamecube, but I do know the Game Boy Advance version is fun. It is not that this version is not fun, as it is a lot of fun in free play, however it can be confusing and hard in challenge mode. Nintendo DS Video Clip: Interactive Storybook Series 1

Here is a video that shows the playing of the instrument activity in this game. It is not all that interesting with no guide to playing an actual song, but young kids will enjoy making up their own music with it.

Nintendo DS Screenshots: Interactive Storybook Series 1

This is a fun game for young kids. There are storybooks that are read aloud and they have some interactive things when you touch things on the screen. There is also a harp you can play a song on. There is also a coloring and draw mode that can be fun. Lastly there is a counting mode game. Overall this is fun for young ones, but any person much older than five will probably be bored. The stores, though, are unique. Click on the screenshots below to see them in a larger version.
